Lil Gangstas
The FIRST EVER Lil Gangstas joins Border Warz at the legendary RAD Torque Raceway!
From the creative minds of Jimmy Dale and Micheal Poland, we bring you the shot at glory, history, and maybe even a Bad A** Gangsta chain to sport in the winner’s circle. Joined by
The infamous Billy ‘the Kid’ Hoskinson, as our Lil Gangsta’s race master, we’re ready to make some laps!
The rules for this class are directly attributed via the Lil Gangsta’s sanctioning body and also available at jimmydaleracing.com which include the following items:
Tire Size = 28.10.5 Non-W / 275 / 60 Max Tire size
5.30 capped index
No Times shown on the boards
Open Testing prior to event start (June 5, 2025) at approximately 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
No Testing on the day of the event
Must be a door car
No TimeSlips
No Wheelie Bars
No Throttle Stops or Delay Boxes
All runs will be a 1/8 mile with a .400 Pro Tree.
Round pairings determined via chip draw
The Lil Gangsta’s class within Border Warz will be a minimum of 24 car/competitor entries, to which the minimum purse will be set to the sum of $20,000 CAD. This purse will face pro-rated increases depending on higher car counts within the event. The pro-rated purse
increases will feature the following:
$20,000 CAD purse @ 24 – 47 Entered competitors
$25,000 CAD purse @ 48 – 63 Entered competitors
$30,000 CAD purse @ 64 Entered competitors
The purse allocation to the drivers/recipients will be based on a percentile distribution that will remain consistent throughout the three (3) available purses for this class. The breakdown will be as follows:
Winner = 60%
Runner Up = 25%
Semi Finalist = 7.5% ea.

X275
The x275 class within Border Warz will be slated as a 3-round ‘Chicago Shootout’ style race format, to which all entered competitors will run three complete rounds within the day. The details of the
‘Chicago Shootout’ format will include the following items:
Open Testing prior to event start (June 5, 2025) at approximately 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
One (1) Test hit on event day prior to round one (1) of pairing selections
All runs will be a 1/8mile with a .400 Pro Tree.
No qualifying, all attendees will be automatically entered into the race.
Shootout will feature 3 rounds of non-elimination racing. (approx. 12:00 pm, 2:30 pm, 4:00 pm, and finals pairing at 6:00 pm) – subject to change*
Rounds one (1) through three (3) will be random pairings drawn via digital name selection with a witness prior to the event start. – Chevy Reeves drawing w/ Kyle Romaniuk as witness.
If an odd number, the selected bye will be considered a round win.
Following the 3rd round, the two racers with the most wins from the previous rounds will be selected for the ‘finals.’
If multiple racers have the same number of round wins (3), the two who have the lowest combined E.T. in both rounds will advance.
The remaining ‘highest’ positioned drivers based on round wins and E.T. will be selected for the semifinal matchup, which will determine a 3rd place round winner.
Follows the 2026 John Sears x275 ruleset
The X275 class within Border Warz will be set to a sixteen (16) competitor max entry field. The pairings will be random draws by the lead Raceway official and a representative of Border Warz. The full purse for a full entry field will be the sum of $15,000 CAD. This purse will face pro-rated decreases in the event of varying car counts within the event. The pro-rated purse information will feature the
following:
$15,000 CAD purse @ 16 Entered competitors
$14,250 CAD purse @ 15 Entered competitors
$13,500 CAD purse @ 14 Entered competitors
$12,750 CAD purse @ 13 Entered competitors
$12,000 CAD purse @ 12 Entered competitors
$11,250 CAD purse @ 11 Entered competitors
$10,500 CAD purse @ 10 Entered competitors
$9,750 CAD purse @ 9 Entered competitors
$9,000 CAD purse @ 8 Entered competitors (minimum purse)
The purse allocation to the drivers/recipients will be based on a percentile distribution that will remain consistent throughout the three (3) available purses for this class. The breakdown will be as follows;

Semi Finalist = 7.5% ea. (15% split between 3rd place & 4th place finisher)

Import vs. Domestic Run Whatcha Brung
We are upping the ante with this one! Oh yea… and doubling the prize money! This ‘Run whatcha Brung’ category just got way more exciting, as we look to break the field in half and run a Quick 16, and a Bottom 32, all while awarding up to $5,000 in each field!
Open Testing prior to event start (June 5, 2025) at approximately 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
All runs will be a 1/4 mile with a .400 Pro Tree.
There will be two (2) event day qualifying sessions to set the field (approx. 11:30 am & 12:30 pm) – subject to change*
All competitors will run together in qualifying
Once a qualified run sheet is completed, the top 16 will be separated into the ‘Quick 16’ ladder, and
the remaining ‘Bottom 32’ will be separated into another. Both ladders will have pairings based on
qualified position.Round pairings determined via chip draw
Higher Qualified driver gets lane choice
Heads up
Inclusive of all American Muscle/Domestic, European, Japanese, and various manufactured vehicles
Must run Factory style headlights and brake lights (one of each may be removed for competition/tech (ie., turbo accommodation))
Must return under it’s own power following a pass (breakage w/ a tow vehicle will not result in a DQ if the vehicle is able to be safely repaired and approved by admin)
Functioning cooling system required (water only)
The Run Whatcha Brung class within Border Warz will be a split field following the qualifying results, to which the maximum purse will be set to the sum of $5,000 CAD for the Quick 16. This purse will face pro-rated decreases depending on varying car-counts within the event. The pro-rated purse information
will feature the following:
$5,000 CAD purse @ 16 Entered competitors
$3,500 CAD purse @ 11 – 15 Entered competitors
$2,500 CAD purse @ 10 or lower Entered competitors
The Run Whatcha Brung class within Border Warz will be a split field following the qualifying results, to which the maximum purse will be set to the sum of $5,000 CAD for the Bottom 32 competitors outside
of the ‘Quick 16’. This purse will face pro-rated decreases depending on varying car-counts within the event. The pro-rated purse information will feature the following;
$5,000 CAD purse @ 32 Entered competitors
$3,500 CAD purse @ 24 – 31 Entered competitors
$2,500 CAD purse @ 23 or lower Entered competitors

Stick Shift Shootout
The first of its kind, Stick Shift Shootout rolls into RAD Torque Raceway for the first annual Border Warz! Sure, being good up front and badass performance wins races, but out here it’s all about how you manage that power down the track and not miss a beat! The Stick Shift
Shootout is sure to be a fun one! The following criteria for this cutthroat class include:

Higher Qualified driver gets lane choice

Open to any H Pattern clutch assisted transmission
No Sequential, electric, or air-assisted shifting permitted
A front beam breaker is permitted (extend 45″ of centreline on front wheels)
Adjustable or slipper-type clutches permitted
Clutch must be engaged by drivers foot
(General rules derived from TX2K + StreetCar Bragging Rights rulesets)
The Stick Shift Shootout class within Border Warz will be a maximum 32 car/competitor entries, to which the maximum purse will be set to the sum of $5,000 CAD. This purse will face pro-rated decreases depending on varying car counts within the event. The pro-rated purse
information will feature the following:
$5,000 CAD purse @ 32 Entered competitors
$3,500 CAD purse @ 24 – 33 Entered competitors
$2,500 CAD purse @ 16 – 23 Entered competitors
$1,500 CAD purse @ 15 or lower Entered competitors

Open Testing
June 5, 2026 – Pre Event Testing Docket (JB’s Power Centre Street Legal)
The date of June 5th, 2026, will feature class-based testing through the hours of 5:00 pm until approximately 11:00 pm and will be incorporated within RAD Torque Raceways’ regularly scheduled
‘JB’s Power Centre Street Legal’ program. The date of June 5th, 2026, will also permit racer’s in attendance for Border Warz to begin the stacking and parking process at 12:00 pm, prior to open
event testing. This event date will emulate the following:

5:00 pm – JB’s Street Legal Begins (holding a consistent class run order/rotation)

schedule is subject to change prior to event start; the venue will provide notice to fans and racers alike in a timely and reasonable fashion.
This JB’s Power Centre Street Legal program is exclusively ran and operated by RAD Torque Raceway.
The Drag Strip will be active between 10:00 am & 4:00 pm for a closed private event. Only permitted & invited guests will be permitted to test within this time frame on June 5, 2026.
